Holidays in Palanga are unimaginable without the beach and the sea. One of the most popular objects visited by Palanga is Birutė Park, it is considered to be one of the most beautiful in all of Northern Europe, this resort space is carefully maintained and nurtured.

The International Blue Flag Program, which is aimed at municipalities developing tourism services, is coordinated by a non-governmental organization, the Environmental Education Foundation, and its requirements. The implementation of the Blue Flag program in Lithuania started in 2000.

Today, the Blue Flag is a highly regarded environmental label for tourists and tour operators, marking the uniqueness and impeccable order of the area.
