What’s particularly interesting is that the walls of Beržoras Church were made without using a saw. Spruce logs were processed with only an axe. There are four altars inside the church. Beržoras Church was first serviced by priests who worked in Plateliai.

The church has a Latin cross plan, a three-sided apse and a small tower in the centre. There are four altars dating back to the 18th century. The churchyard has a massive bell tower with an entryway. Plateliai parish cemetery can be found in the churchyard. It has long been one of the most interesting cemeteries in Žemaitija (Samogitia). In the middle of the last century, this small cemetery was already known for its unique wooden crosses and chapels which did not remain to this day, however the cemetery is still visited by people just like before.

In the future, Beržoras should become one of the most visited locations in Žemaitija (Samogitia). Restoration works of the Chapel of the Way of the Cross of Christ have already begun, and a project for the regeneration of Beržoras village is being prepared. Beržoras village is located on the northern shore of Beržoras Lake. Most Samogitians believe that these lands are miraculous.
