Birutė Park, also known as the Pearl of Palanga, is considered to be one of the most beautiful parks in Northern Europe. The park project was commissioned by Counts Tiškevičiai. It was implemented at the end of the 19th century by a famous French landscape architect, dendrologist Eduard François Andre.

When walking around Birutė Park, be sure to visit the legendary Birutė Hill, which rises 21 m above sea level and offers a beautiful view of the rustling sea.

The park also offers a plethora of event for classic music enthuasiasts. Traditionally, every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of summer, at 6:30 pm, fans of wind instrument music gather around the rotunda of Birutė Park to listen free concerts of the Palanga Orchestra.
