Lithuanian Sea Museum, Aquarium and Dolphinarium invites you to explore the mysterious underwater world. The museum is located in Kopgalis, the northernmost point of the Curonian Spit, where the gates of Klaipėda port open. The museum’s twenty-four aquariums feature four ecosystems: freshwater, Baltic Sea, North Sea and tropical seas. The aqarium’s acrylic tunnel allows for close-up observation of various sea creatures. In its 13 hectare territory the museum also houses a dolphinarium – home to penguins, Grey seals, and Northern sea lions. Also, the dolphinarium constantly hosts shows permormed by California sea lions. In addition to all of the educational and recreational activities offered, the dolphinarium is also a home to The Dolphin Assisted Therapy Centre which works with children experiencing a wide variety of medical conditions.
The museum facilities are handicap-accessible.
