Aries Mountain – Avikalnis

The southern part of the parabolic dunes and the landscape picture of the fragments of the old pine stands - Sengiris - are also well visible from the view of Avikalnis. The shrubbery old stands are known as sengirė - they date back even 230 years, and their small areas have remained only in Rasyte, Nida and Juodkrante. It is sandwiched between Juodkrantė recreational area and Nagliai Nature Reserve.

Visitors to Avikalnis will have the opportunity to experience the beautiful landscape, feel the tranquility of nature and relax in the shade of the individual trees growing there.
