It is convenient to get to know Klaipeda on foot and by using the ferry a bit! On this route, you will experience various emotions - from relaxation by the Baltic Sea to admiration of Klaipeda's historical past and the abundance of sculptures within easy reach of Klaipeda's wall city. What could be better? Have the peace of the sea in the hustle and bustle of the city? We recommend covering this route on foot, not including the time of moving by ferry, a meaningful walk will take you only 1 hour and 13 minutes. However, you can also travel by car (the journey will only take 1 hour and 4 minutes, but the number of kilometers traveled will increase 2.5 times), you may want to spend more time on the beach and then, in the evening, take a walk and explore the sights of the city’s old town. The total walking time is calculated at an average speed, adjust the time spent according to your hobbies and interests. Traveling along this route, you will have the opportunity to inspire the smell of the sea on Smiltynė beach, to get acquainted with the world of waters in Neringa fort, and to explore works of art created by 67 Lithuanian artists-sculptors in Klaipėda Sculpture Park. It is important to note that the sculpture park is as much as 12 hectares, so you will definitely have time to relax and gain new artistic knowledge.
